INSTRUCTIONS

The times listed in Best Time To Hunt represent the best time to hunt for each day listed. Plan to hunt the period from 1-1/2 hours before the time listed to 1-1/2 hours after the time listed. This is the peak activity period for the day.

It is also critical that you hunt the right area each day to increase your chances of taking a trophy. The letter to the right of the time represents the best area to hunt for each day listed. Focus your hunting efforts on those areas for each day listed.
(F) = Food Sources   (T) = Connecting Trails    (B) = Bedding Areas.

The times listed are accurate for all areas in North America. Use the Time Zone Map link below to locate the median longitude (example: 75, 90, 105 or 120 degrees) for your time zone.  Add 4 minutes for each degree that your hunting area is located west of that longitude and deduct 4 minutes for each degree east. The best days to hunt each month are listed in the box located in the top right hand corner of each month's page.

The days where the times are shaded in GREEN represent the best days to hunt that month, followed by the days where the times are printed in RED. The days printed in BLACK are considered to be good or average days to hunt.
